Transmission Warranty Policy
WP Developments Inc (“WP Developments”) warrants its transmissions to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of the original invoice. This warranty is extended exclusively to the original purchaser/end user and is non-transferable.
Coverage
This limited warranty covers the repair or replacement, at WP Developments’ sole discretion, of any transmission components determined to be defective following inspection. WP Developments reserves the exclusive right to determine the appropriate course of action for any warranty claim.
Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, the following items must be returned to WP Developments prepaid:
- The defective part(s)
- A copy of the original proof of purchase
- A detailed description of the issue
- Complete service history
Repaired or replacement products will be returned freight collect. All parts replaced under warranty become the sole property of WP Developments.
Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Use of the product in competitive events, such as drag racing or sled pulling
- Improper installation, misuse, neglect, or accident-related damage
- Products altered or repaired by unauthorized individuals
- Failures caused by low fluid levels or improper maintenance
- Labor costs, shipping charges, fluid, or filter replacement
- Towing, travel, lodging, rental vehicle expenses, or any other incidental or related costs
WP Developments will not be liable for any loss of use, downtime, inconvenience, or for special, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from a failure or warranty claim.
Warranty Activation
To activate warranty coverage, customers must complete and return the Warranty Registration Form within 30 days of purchase. A downloadable form is provided via the link or button below. Failure to register within this timeframe may result in denial of coverage.
